Tantric Odyssey is a visual meditation on sacred union. Inspired by the timeless relationship between the deities Shiva and Shakti, the painting reflects on the possibility of divine connection within human relationships. The artist was deeply influenced by André van Lysebeth's book Tantra, which speaks of mutual reverence: that a man should treat his partner as a goddess, and she him as a god. From this respect, true fulfillment arises.

At the center of the composition are two pyramids—Shiva as the larger, open triangle, and Shakti as the smaller, stronger form. Her structure provides stability; his apex aligns perfectly with her center, symbolizing eternal connection. A red dot at the top marks the union, subtle yet powerful.

The red cone with an eye represents the observer—the artist herself—bearing witness to the energy between the two. The cube with lips evokes the world of media and politics, reflecting the artist's experience working in television at the time. It also hints at the strategic layers of communication within relationships.

This painting is not about sensuality—it is about energy, reverence, and the sacred dance between masculine and feminine forces. It invites viewers to reflect on how we relate to one another, and how respect can transform connection into something timeless.
