Between Designs

The world is full of handbags. I bought dozens — some cheap, some expensive, some labeled "vegan" made of plastic pretending to be leather. But none of them felt right. Either the material was off, the shape was awkward, or they simply lacked what I needed most: purpose.

When people see my creations, their reactions are full of excitement. They love the colors, the turquoise couch, the art, the bold patterns. But then I visit their homes—and it's white, grey, black, maybe a hint of dusty pink, I see. They want color, but they're afraid of it.
